Exploring is best during mid-to-high tide, while the ultimate sand bar hopping is done during lower tides. Either way, you can’t go wrong!
Coffee Pot Bayou:
Cruise the scenic Coffee Pot Bayou aboard a Go-Boat near Snell Isle neighborhood, weaving under the iconic Mediterranean Revival style Snell Isle Bridge and past elegant waterfront estates. Feel the gentle currents as you glide towards Bird Island—a protected rookery favored by pelicans and cormorants—before venturing out into the broader inlet where occasional glimpses of dolphins, manatees, turtles, herons, and egrets enliven the journey. With downtown St. Petersburg’s skyline coming into view, you’ll enjoy a relaxing paddle on the calm bay waters, blending tranquility and just a hint of urban charm in one unforgettable rental adventure.
*tips: book longer durations to enjoy downtown St. Petersburg’s skyline. Book around low tide to enjoy getting out at a sandbar.
Downtown St. Petersburg/North Shore Beach:
Renting a Go‑Boat off North Shore Beach in downtown St. Petersburg is the perfect way to blend city skyline charm with sun‑soaked fun. Cruise leisurely along the waterfront, drifting under the iconic St. Petersburg Pier and soaking up festival music floating across the bay. Pause at shallow sandbars just offshore—ideal for a swim or an impromptu picnic—while downtown’s vibrant energy hums nearby. Whether you’re trolling the calm waters or anchored at a beachside bar, this Go‑Boat experience is a sunlit, self‑driven urban escape unlike any other.
*tips: book at low-tide for sandbar access. Book the last shift for a beautiful sunset off of downtown.
